Our Story

906 Tackle Co. was founded and is proudly run out of Ontonagon County, Michigan — a place surrounded by some of the best fishing waters in the Midwest. With Lake Superior on our doorstep and countless inland lakes and rivers around us, fishing has always been part of our lives.

We grew up as bass fishermen, spending our time learning the craft and testing ourselves on the local lakes. Over time, we discovered musky fishing — and from that first encounter, it’s been an addiction ever since. The pursuit of muskies demanded stronger tackle, tougher gear, and lures built for power and endurance. That passion for chasing apex predators is what inspired the creation of 906 Tackle Co.
